Aspen and Julia Foshee

Hello from the Foshee Family,
This family is dedicated to sharing the gospel with whoever we can. How, you may ask? Through Electronic Dance Music (EDM)
EDM is one of the top 5 music genres in the world. Fans of EDM are called ravers, and a majority of them live in clubs, underground shows, and festivals. Millions attend large festivals like EDC and Tomorrowland a few times a year, not including the small-scale s hows that happen weekly, almost daily,
like here in Colorado.

This community falls under a deceptive ideology based on Peace Love Unity and Respect (PLUR). Though there is a lot of substance abuse and pagan practice, it’s still easy for young Christians, like we were, to overlook the disease hiding behind kind and welcoming individuals.

Julia's Story
“Growing up in the early 2000s, EDM went from underground to mainstream. I fell madly in love with the music genre and partying (probably due to my lack of Godly examples). By the time I moved to Colorado and went to my first rave (edm concert), I was instantly addicted to the culture. It took 3.5 years of raging drug and alcohol abuse as well as new age indoctrination for me to realize that I was in desperate need of a savior. The Lord then guided me into sobriety. Now, I am called to provide a Christ centered community that can witness the gospel to ravers and encourage a life of sobriety through my ministry True EDMMM.”

Before

Aspen’s story:
“From a young age, I felt called to ministry in relation to music, but didn't know exactly how that would play out. Growing up, I also fell madly in love with EDM and wished there was a Christian version available. By 17, I started learning how to DJ and attended raves regularly. After years of going from show to show, I started to see the evil that was encompassing the culture. While stationed in the Navy, my grandpa had very little time left to live, so I visited him during the pandemic. Returning to the military, depressed and grieved, I was placed in a 2-week quarantine. Being at my lowest point, I reached out to God. This is when I realized that I was meant to produce Christian EDM (CEDM). Not long after meeting other Christian producers, my good friend and I started a CEDM record label called “Extol Records,” and I've grown as an artist under the title TRTLE. I hope to disciple believers, both new and old, who have been called to this mission.”

How we met
In 2023, I (Julia) got connected to Extol Records and, therefore, Aspen. Not long after we met, we started working together to throw an EDM outreach in Colorado. From then on, Aspen and I knew that we both had a very similar purpose. A year and almost a dozen shows later, we got married!

Now
Shortly after, we had our son Blaze!

In October of 2024, Aspen lost his job over unethical circumstances. As door after door closed for job opportunities, we realized it was time for us to work towards ministry full-time.
Our Mission
Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”. Rave culture has become its own nation that leads millions away from Christ. The scene is full of searching individuals ripe for harvest, yet lacks discipleship and Godly guidance. Many Christians refuse to meet these people where they are at...

But God.

We have personally seen ravers reach out to get fully immersed in the community that the Lord is growing.
The TRTLE project has grown 3300% since 2023, in years reaching up to 33,000 monthly streams on Spotify. Events that we hosted or partnered with have gone viral on 4 separate occasions.

We went from no volunteers to multiple teams,
Both volunteer and staff, allowing for each outreach to grow exponentially.

Most importantly, we are seeing people commit their lives to Christ, get sober, and minister the gospel to those who are lost.
